First Song I Heard This Morning

oh wow... such a sweet, wonderful, TRUE song! Listen with your heart.
You're Not Alone
by Meredith Andrews

I search for love,
When the night came and it closed in,
I was alone, but you found me, where I was hiding,
And now I'll never ever be same,
It was the sweetest voice, that called my name singing

You're not alone,
For I am here,
Let me wipe away your every fear,
My love I've never left your side,
I have seen you through the darkest night,
And I'm the one that who's loved you all your life,
All of your life

You cry your self to sleep,
Cause the hurt is real, and the pain cuts deep,
All hope seems lost,
With heart ache your closest friend,
And everyone else long gone,

You've had to face the music on your own,
But there is a sweeter song that calls you home, saying

You're not alone,
For I am here,
Let me wipe away your every tear,
My love I've never left your side,
I have seen you through the darkest nights,
And I'm the one who's love you all your life,
All your life

Faithful and true... Forever,
For my love will carry you...

You're not alone,
For I... I am here,
Let me wipe away your every fear... Oh yeah,
My love I've never left your side,
I have seen you through your darkest night,
Your darkest nights,
And I'm the one that's loved you all your life,
All of your life

All for now (I think),
Lisa

Lisa, this song was the theme of my first 2 months here. A former co-worker gave me this CD for my b-day back in May but I was so busy until I got here that I only had time to listen to it in the background...not really LISTEN. When I got here I felt quite alone. Many days I whined to God that the things I was experiencing were SO amazing and I just wanted someone to share them with...someone that would always be in my life. He reminded me so sweetly that He has been with me for all of the wonderful and terrible seasons of my life. He has been my closest friend...and will remain that my whole life. He reminded me to tell Him all about the beauty I was seeing, and all of the gratitude that was building in my heart through the pains. Then one morning as I was running along the beach I heard this song...and of course cried. It came on my lil' ipod shuffle at the same stretch of land each morning as I jogged for a week or two until my heart moved on to other lessons. I'm sure this one is not complete yet, but I am delighted with His friendship and love.
