While my photo site is a place for my visual reflections, which is at the site http://lieseldiesel.smugmug.com, this is a place for my thoughts and musings. What's in the name? Lieseldiesel is the nickname my grandpa Ralph called me from as early as I can remember. Spending many a summer with my grandparents on their farm in North Carolina, I have fond memories of him calling out, "Liesel... Liesel Diesel... come help me get those chicken eggs".

Continuing to be Humbled
I just received a link to a great YouTube video - a newstory about a woman who, in the midst of being robbed, witnessed to her attacker. In an earlier blog, I wrote about the voice of martyrs. But I don't think you have to be a martyr to have a voice to be listened to. This is proof. Take a moment to watch it, and then time to talk with the Lord. I truly believe it was her regular Bible reading and prayer time with the Lord that allowed her to be so calm when in danger.
